Due to expansion, we now have a requirement for an office-based Technical Sales Engineer. Liaising with both the Sales Manager and the Service Manager your typical duties would include:

  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.

  • Interpreting and managing customer requirements.

  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.

  • Calculating client quotations.

  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.

  • Offering after-sales support services and solving client problems.

  • Administering client accounts and recording and maintaining client contact information.

  • Contributing to meetings regarding costs and sales analysis, targets and marketing.

  • Liaising with other departments and technical experts.

  • Providing support material for the sales team.

  • Occasional travel to visit potential clients or attend industry events.

Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical and control systems would be an advantage.

Ideally, candidates would live within an hour commute of Haverhill and be able to work well within a small team.
