Aralab has acquired UK-based Alphatech. This acquisition gives them direct representation in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, a leading market for climatic chambers and environmental testing solutions.
Alphatech, a company with over 30 years of experience based in Haverhill, near Cambridge, has been their exclusive distributor and after-sales service provider for the UK and Ireland for more than a decade, making this acquisition a natural next step in a partnership that has grown successfully over many years. The company has long focused on environmental chamber sales and after-sales activities, including service, calibration, and rentals, as well as operating its in-house UKAS 17025-accredited testing facilities.
Moving forward, they will integrate the production and incorporation of selected parts and components manufactured in the UK into products for all markets. With this in mind, they will also look to expand Alphatech’s outstanding team.

This move follows Aralab’s acquisition of 51% of Newtronic in March 2026. Newtronic is an Indian manufacturer of environmental test equipment and laboratory solutions with over 45 years of experience. The acquisition was carried out in partnership with the German company Memmert, with whom Aralab have collaborated in China since 2024 and in the United States since 2025.
