Recent European Qualmark HALT/HASS seminar & training

HALT/HASS - mid September 08  - Seminar in Germany with Qualmark - agents/distributors & clients.

Alphatech participated in a 3 day European Qualmark hosted HALT/HASS adoption seminar combined with joint client & sales agents “hands on” training sessions.

Qualmark Ceo Andy Drenick, Ken Ryan (Director of East Region Sales) and Carol Drake (Customer service & training) worked with Qualmark agents/distributors over 3 days to review HALT/HASS successful adoption across various industry sectors. Big aerospace, military and electronics goods manufacturers have lead HALT/HASS adoption but other specialised and cost/quality concious organisations are now taking up the technique.

 

Large industry/multinationals guarding their reputations, tight warranty controls and lean manufacturing have been in the forefront of those adopting HALT/HASS because it PAYS to do so! But, HALT/HASS is being adopted by smaller organisations who either recognize its value to them & buy systems or bring their product to test labs like Alphatech who are already equipped and approved by Qualmark.

 

Key points from the seminar included:- 

There is now lots of good data showing HALT does take a lot of time out of the reliability testing cycle.

Evidence form users now shows clearly that although traditional tests do find latent design faults HALT does it MUCH sooner and finds more faults!
